It's a sony USB floppy drive I use because my Windows 2000 laptop only has one drive bay and I use the CD and floppy pretty often. I don't think it's a Windows 2000 issue with the 1.68mb format, but that the controller in the USB drive does not reconize it properly. I used to use the format for cramming a few more utilities on boot floppies. Since I only use the floppy for making boot floppies and transferring data to non-networked DOS systems at work I just stopped using the format. Regards, Paul
